This is a fan creation I found on the Heroes wiki of Heroes characters remade into South Park versions. I’ll just let you guess at which one’s which.

Heroes Quotes 1

You may notice I’ve put numbers by posts like this and the Scrubs Quotes post, but that’s because I’ll probably come in later and do other posts like this. Here are some of my favorite quotes from Heroes, the series.

[Translated from Japanese.]
Hiro: My clock. I made it go back one second using only my mind, my thoughts.
Ando: Too bad you’re not paid by the hour.
Future Hiro: Save the cheerleader, save the world!

Ando: Every hero is on a journey to find his place in the world, it is a JOURNEY, you don’t start at the end, otherwise they can’t make a movie about it later.

Peter: [to Nathan] Hey, you know what? I’m just gonna fly off the terrace yeah? No? Hey, I can fly. Nathan so can you. Tell you what. Why don’t you just race around the Statue of Liberty real quick. Huh? Give this tweedy cat something to write about.

Lyle: I’m gonna put this on YouTube and make like, a million dollars!
Zach: YouTube’s free, you idiot!
D.L.: It’s going to be you and me from here on out. Partners.
Micah: You mean like Batman and Robin?
D.L.: Yeah, like Batman and Robin. Only, I ain’t wearing no tights. You can wear tights, I ain’t wearing no tights.
[Sylar confronts Brian Davis.]
Sylar: You’re broken. I can fix you.
[Hiro gets a well-timed cellphone call from Isaac.]
Ando: Who is it?
Hiro: Destiny!
Ando: I wish Destiny would lose our number.
[Peter and Nathan are walking out of the police station. Peter tries to discuss others' powers with Nathan.]
Peter: … I-I think he was trying to read my mind. They were all like us!
Nathan: Dysfunctional?
[Alone at home, Claire is suddenly grabbed by the Haitian.]
The Haitian: I work for your father. He sent me here to make you forget; like he sent me to your friend, and your brother, and to your mother, so many times. He’ll be here soon, expecting that you won’t remember anything. But it is very important that you do. Tell me, Claire, can you keep a secret?

CES 2008 Day 2

CES will be wrapping up soon, and I thought I would steal, I mean give the rest of headlines before this major tech left until 2009. I hope you enjoy.

Sony has unveiled a new color for the PSP, although it is a litte…..limited. A pink, blue, and green version of the PSP will be released February 28th…in Japan. Sony Europe has said they have to plans in releasing it here.

They have also given us extended hands on time with The Agency, LittleBigPlanet, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Fracture, and more, which you can read more on by clicking here.

Are you ready to rock for a little cheaper than Guitar Hero? A toy version of the hit series Air Guitar Hero will be released soon on our shores for $29.99. It will include ten songs, from Smoke on the Water to More than a Feeling. If you don’t have enough money for Guitar Hero this could be the thing for you.

Well, that concludes my CES coverage, if I find any more notable news, I will be sure to let you know. If you want more info, you can check out Gamespot.com or G4TV.com/CES. Thanks for reading.

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

(8.00/10.00) One of my favorite launch titles for the Wii was Rayman Raving Rabbids, a minigame collection where Rayman vied to save rescue himself and others from the evil rabbids. Now he and the rabbids are back, and this time they want the world. Rayman infiltrates their base and takes them down from the inside. The minigames are still fun this time around, with the zaniness and hillarity all intact. Some of the minigames are some of the most fun I’ve seen in a while, while others are OK. My favorites include The Office mingame, the Spiderman spoof, the Indiana Jones spoof, and the anesthetics game. This time instead of sets of 5, you take on World Tours, where you go to a set of 6 minigames, and after you beat them, you unlock a shooting game, which you can play later. There are five “continents”, and each one feels fair in length. The game adds replay value allowing you to go back and unlock extra games in other play-throughs. You can even customize your own trip, adding for some fun. The shooting missions are, to me, the biggest improvement. This time around they used real world video, so the Rabbids are running around in a real environment with real people, like live-action. Overall, this game is a solid sequel, and a crazy, zany minigame collection for any Wii owner. And despite some length issues and some variety in the minigames, this is a solid installment.

Movie Preview-You Don’t Mess with Zohan

Adam Sandler is heading back to his solo comedic roots with Don’t Mess with Zohan, a comedy about a man from the turmoil in the Middle East, who is quite frankly tired of all the fighting. So he decides to go to New York, to become a hair dresser. There he participates in several goofy antics, just as Adam Sandler does. However, a taxi driver (Rob Schneider) and his group plan on taking him down. THis movie looks hillarious, it will do well, of course, because it’s Adam Sandler. People will love this movie, and it will be fine. I may even go see it. Judd Apatow, the man behind movies like Superbad, Knocked Up, and The 40 Year Old Virgin wrote for it, so it just got funnier. It releases sometime in July, so all of you Adam Sandler fans like me, make sure you check out this sure-to-be-funny movie.

Text to Me-Favorite Games and Movies of 2007 and 2008

Hello Readers, this is a new category I was wanting to start where I ask you, the reader to tell me what you think on certain topics. This time I want to know what your favorite video games and movies were your favorite in 2007 and what you’re looking forward to in 2008. Leave a response in comment form, and I’ll let you know my favorites of this year and years past.

In 2006 when I started doing Earl’s Blog Part 1, my favorite Game of the Year was The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and last year’s was Super Mario Galaxy, so you could say I’m a Wii-fanboy. My favorite movie of 2006 was The Pursuit of Happyness, and my favorite movie of 2007 was National Treasure 2, although I’d still like to watch I Am Legend and Dan in Real Life on DVD. I am really looking forward to The Dark Knight, Don’t Mess with Zohan, 10000 BC, Prince Caspian, Be Kind Rewind, Cloverfield, Hancock, and more in 2008 as far as movies go. As far as video games go, I will definitely be picking up Super Smash Bros. Brawl as soon as possible, preferrably the day of release. I would like to try out No More Heroes, DAH Big WIlly Unleashed, the Guitar Hero 3 expansion coming out hopefully soon, and a handful of other titles, but mainly Brawl. Let me know what you think, post your favorites, or I’ll have to take away your reading priveleges.
