Evening Lego Commissioner!

Below are some of the newest screens from the new game Lego Batman, expected to grapple into stores this Fall on the PS3, 360, Wii, PS2, PSP, and PC. If you liked the Lego Star Wars series (Myself, James, Dragon) this may be the next great Lego game. How could it go wrong? The game will not be based on any of the movies, but instead will just be focused on the entire Batman universe.

The Force is Strong with SoulCalibur 4!

In recent CES news, they have announced that some familiar faces will be playable characters in the new SoulCalibur game. It appears as if the Jedi Knights will be playable in the Xbox 360 version, and the PS3 version will get the Sith Lords. More specifically, Yoda’s on the 360, Vader’s on the PS3. The Wii version, however, will get both. Just kidding James, it’s not coming out for the Wii, but we still have Brawl, which will kick this game’s butt. No pun intended. Anyway, for those of you 360 and PS3 owners who are Star Wars fans too, this game may just be your kinda game. As for me, I’ll just wait until The Force Unleashed, which isn’t as gimmicky.

If You’re So Smart, then Why Are You Limited?

I’ve noticed something over the last couple of years, besides the fact that girls don’t like me. I’ve noticed that a lot of the “better movies” are only in limited release, I mean think about it. Movies like One Missed Call, which received atrocious reviews, are in wide release, while movies that receive great reviews like the more recent Juno and the upcoming Be Kind Rewind, are in Limited, sure not to release in my nearest theater. Now think with me here for a second, should these be reversed? I know the reason they are limited is due to financial problems, but I know movies have test screenings. Can’t we get a general picture of how good or how not good a movie is, and then plot its release! I mean you do the math! Which would be better in a wider release: Norbit, or The Bucket List, with Morgan Freeman! MORGAN FREEMAN!!! You think about it, have your opinion, but that’s the way I see it.
