Assassination on the DS?
Ubisoft has just confirmed an Assassin’s Creed prequel for the Nintendo DS, slated for release later this year. The DS is no stranger to action, with big titles like Ninja Gaiden coming to their doorstep soon as well. This game is being worked on by Gameloft, a developer of cellphone games, so maybe this can be something to look forward to for DS owners looking for a little more violence.
Welcome Captain Olimar and Pikmin!

They just announced a day or two ago that there will be a new character to Super Smash Bros. Brawl-Captain Olimar and Pikmin from the Pikmin series! He uses more of a squad based attack, using his pikmin to throw at you as they poison you slowly. I like the idea of this character, and will probably use him every now and then.
Game Preview Triple Play-Prototype, Saboteur, InFamous
Here are three games coming out soon that look pretty promising from some of the biggest developers of our time. They are Prototype, Saboteur, and Infamous.
Prototype One man….on a mission….to find out who he is…and what has been done to him. No, this is not a summer blockbuster, instead it is a summer video game. The game follows Alex Mercer, a amnesiatic warrior with the ability to kill others and take their abilities, knowledge, appearance, and more…wait…is this the Heroes video game? ANyway, the game looks to take a huge open-ended perspective, where you may jump and attack other characters and become them. There is a huge war, and even better, you can do it with a friend in Co-op! Alex is superhuman, this game looks super cool, even though it looks super-rip-offish of Sylar from Heroes. Look for this game to be released this summer on the PS3 and 360.

Saboteur Another game being developed by one of my favorite game studios, Pandemic, is called Saboteur. In this game, you play as Sean, a Irish man during World War 2 Europe who is pretty indifferent about the war, that is until his family is kidnapped. He now swears revenge, and will slowly lift the veil of the Nazi opression. Strangely, the game takes on an Okami-like style, with each part of the Nazi regime taken down, the more of the countryside will go from black and white to a more colorful backdrop. The game looks to have a stealthy yet action perspective, and begins to look even more promising for its release sometime this year on the 360 and PS3.

Infamous The final game I’m taking a closer look at is Infamous, a superhero game from the makers of Sly Cooper. Not much is known about the game, but knowing me, I’ll just rehash the information so you don’t think you’ve already heard it! The game will somewhat follow the City of Heroes format, where you control a superpowered individual with the powers of electrical conduction, telekinesis, flight, and more. However, the game will give you the ultimate weapon of free will, so you can choose whether to be a villain…or a hero. This game will hopefully release soon for the PS3.
