Viva La Resistance
The February Issue of Game Informer, which I should be receiving soon, has confirmed that Insomniac is and has been working on a sequel to their hit FPS that launched with the PS3, Resistance: Fall of Man. Not much is known right now, except that there will be 2 camapaigns, multiplayer battles with up to 60 people, EIGHT-man co-op online, or 2 palyer split screen, and the new game will have more vehicles, including the Stalker (No comment from Dragon Master), that will have cloaking abilities. Unconfirmed reports say there will be 3 playable classes, including the humans, chimera, and a medic class. The story, according to Wikipedia, goes as follows: The story continues after the first game; An X-Ray ship carrying Sgt. Nathan Hale is shot down over Iceland. Hale escapes to the United States and becomes part of a program known as Sentinels.
DVD Review-Evan Almighty
(9.25/10.00) Evan Almighty was one of my favorite movies of last year, not because of great acting or gritty action sequences, but because of the great storyline and comedy, that and Morgan Freeman plays God well. Now it is out on DVD, and I picked it up. The box looks pretty nice, and the menu surpassed my expectations. That’s right, I critic the menu. Welcome to Earl’s Blog: Part 3. The movie is a good comedy with several laughs and Bible-references, and it includes a pretty cool extra commentary of sorts that’s like a narraration, which is unique, although there isn’t a commentary by Tom Shadyac, the director. I might also want to mention that the credits video montage is one of the funniest I’ve seen. There are several special features, including deleted scenes, a hillarious blooper reel, and a couple of interesting behind-the-scenes. Overall, a really solid DVD. If you loved the movie, you already have this. If you liked the movie and you’re not quite sure, this is a pretty good investment. Good buy.
