Mad Money, More Like Mad Reviewers

January 18, 2008 at 2:27 am (Movies, Weapons of Mass Enjoyment)

IGN has reviewed one of the newest movies, entitled Mad Money, starring Queen Latifah. The movie received a 0 out of 10, being the worst possible score. But what made me laugh was the following criticism…

“Finally, Khouri directs the film with the tenderness and subtlety of a sledgehammer to the crotch.”

“Mad Money is not only likely the worst film you will see this year, it is one of the worst films you will see any year.”

“And then finally, there’s my job to see and review it, which is indeed crappy for having to see this flaming turd…”

What to See-Cloverfield or The Bucket List?

January 18, 2008 at 2:08 am (Movies, Talk to Me)

This was something I did last fall where I asked you to give me your opinion on which movie I should go see, and ultimately, which review you would rather read. Last time on Part 2 it was between I Am Legend and National Treasure 2, and I ultimately picked NT2, with it being a great movie that I loved. Now there’s a possibility of being able to see Cloverfield, the new blair-witch filming style monster movie, or the comedy tear jerker, The Bucket List, starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, which I’m already leaning with, and am sure I’ll love. Now give me your opinion, and tell me what I should see. And James, I know this is ahead of ourselves, but if I do go see one of these, I can review it for the Informer. Yahoo Movies is actually recommending Cloverfield.
