Oldies Sunday-The Nutty Professor
(10.00/10.00) One of the funniest movies of all time, the 1996 version of The Nutty Professor is a classic. The story follows Sherman Klump, an overweight man who doesn’t get much help from his family who are in the…same position. He develops a supposed cure for obesity, and trys it out after getting depressed about his weight. The movie has several hillarious moments, from Sherman’s fat jokes, him chugging a glass of M&Ms, the rantings of Buddy Love, and so much more. And who’s to forget the classic dinner scene? If you don’t laugh at that, you aren’t human. Eddie Murphy does a superb job of playing both Sherman and Buddy, not to mention playing nearly all of the Klump family. The blooper reel at the end of the movie is even laugh-out-loud funny. If you’re looking for a great comedy and a great laugh, look up this oldie.
It’s About Time!
The Writer’s Strike could finally be coming to an end soon. There are deals on the horizon, with a meeting coming up this Friday. This is great news for everyone, especially me, getting tired of American Gladiators fast. Maybe this means we can finally get back to Heroes, and find out what Sylar did with that can of spinach.
Wanted Trailer
This is the trailer for the upcoming adrenaline-filled action flick starring James McAvoy (Mr. Tumnus) and Morgan Freeman (Any good movie). The story follows a group of assassins, and that’s really all you need to know. The movie is set to release this June, and I will probably wanna go see it.
