This is a really great show I just started watching earlier this month. Morgan Spurlock is a brilliant documentarist, in that he explores a lot of subjects some are sensitive around, while not offending, but speaking the cold hard truth. He has had two movies, Supersize Me and Where in the World is Osama Bin Laden, both of which I haven’t viewed yet, but after watching this great show, plan on. Basically in the show Morgan Spurlock, or another volunteer, chooses to go into a situation that exceeds their comfort zone for 30 Days, in order to broaden their views. The one episode that got me hooked was one where Spurlock sets a goal to spend 30 Days in Jail, where he meets several people, establishes bonds, and experienced some very real emotions. There were several other episodes of the series, including 30 Days of a Christian in A Muslim Family, 30 Days of Binge Drinking, and the most recent, 30 Days in a Wheelchair. The show is rated TV-MA, mainly due to they don’t sensor some of the more extreme language, however the show still provides a very real and very interesting documentary-style adventure. I highly recommend it to any mature viewer looking for a good show to watch on Tuesday nights.
