Heroes: Villains Promos

July 8, 2008 at 6:18 pm (Television, Video)

Below are some brand new promos for the upcoming sure-to-be-awesome 3rd season of Heroes, Villains. The top one has definitely got to be my favorite, if you’ve watched the show you know what I mean/know the consequences. Sure the last one’s quality’s a little off, but it’s still great.

Going Postal-My Summertime Heroes Fix

July 8, 2008 at 6:07 pm (Television)

Thank you so much Tim Kring. A while back, the man himself confirmed a mini series of 3 webisodes entitled “Going Postal”. This is great news to me and any other Heroes fan who have been deprived of Heroes for the PAST 8 MONTHS. The mini series will follow a post man/mail man, Echo De Mille who lives a seemingly ordinary life, that is until he discovers his ability, which is where they would normally lose me, but seeing as if I haven’t seen a new episode or advancement in the cliffhanging storyline IN 8 MONTHS I don’t care. The mailman’s ability is that to emit noises that can kill. Once again, 8 MONTHS, I don’t care. Oh..now I get it…ECHO de Mille. I got ya. The three part series will begin this next monday, July 14, with the episode “A Nifty Trick”, and I promise if any of you messange me I will find you and destroy your computer. Thanks again Tim Kring. Below is the trailer for the mini series, see if you can notice a familiar, now EVIL character from the series.

Batman Begins Limited Edition Preview

July 8, 2008 at 5:51 pm (DVD, Movies)

I’m sure you know about The Dark Knight, the superhero movie critics are raving about, Warner Bros. is advertising like there’s no tomorrow for, and Morgan Freeman stars in (He could even play the Joker, why stop at Lucius Fox?), well there was a prequel to that a couple of years ago called Batman Begins, and although it’s probably not as good as The Dark Knight, it was still pretty good. Now, 3 years later, they’re releasing a special limited edition gift set, filled with all kinds of extras and goodies, it even folds out! The set, of course, features the movie from 2005, Batman Begins, but also features a whole slew of special features, which make it LIMITED!

  • 6 Min. Prologue to The Dark Knight, in other words the first 6 minutes of the movie where the Joker and his henchmen rob a bank.
  • The “In Movie Experience” featuring several commentaries about the film.
  • Reflections on Writing Batman Begins
  • Batman-The Journey Begins
  • Shaping Mind and Body
  • Batman: The Tumbler
  • Gotham City Rises
  • Genesis of the Bat
  • Confidential Files
  • Saving Gotham City
  • 5 Collectible Alternate Covers
  • 2 Different Reads-A Graphic Novel and Comic
  • 128 MB Batman Flash Drive
  • 2 Min. Sneak Peek of The Dark Knight
And quite possibly more. If you haven’t bought Batman Begins yet or have just now fallen in love with the film, this one will set you back about $30. For those of you Batman fanatics out there (I’m looking at you Mr. H), this may still be a worth while buy. *Note-The 6 min of The Dark Knight are not on the standard DVD version. I might have bought this, but was too busy buying my newest Monk season.

What Happens in Vegas and Leatherheads DVD Boxart

July 8, 2008 at 12:02 pm (DVD, Movies)

According to DVD-Active, the recent movies What Happens in Vegas and Leatherheads are set for a soon DVD release. The movie What Happens in Vegas is set for release on the 26th of August, while Leatherheads is set for a release on the 23rd of September. The boxarts are below, click for a larger image. I’ll probably be skipping both of these flicks, even though I am a John Krasinski fan. With the DVD releases set for these two films, I will give 10000 Earl Points to the person who can find the OFFICIAL Iron Man DVD art.
