Monk’s Special Guests

July 20, 2008 at 8:20 pm (Television)

Last Friday marked the premiere of Season 7 for my favorite obsessive compulsive sleuth, when he bought a new house. Monk is scheduled to go on a lot of adventures this season, from getting a new therapist, to becoming a boxing champ, going underwater, winning the lottery, and more. However the one episode that’s gotten me most excited is Mr. Monk and the 100th Case, scheduled to premiere September 5. In the episode a slew of stars from the past are to reappear for interviews for Monk’s 100th Case, including-

  • Erin McCormack-Reporter
  • Kathryn Joosten-Monk’s Former Babysitter (Mr. Monk and the Red Herring)
  • John Turturro-Ambrose Monk (Mr. Monk and the Three Pies/Goes Home Again)
  • Jarrad Paul-Kevin Dorfman (Mr. Monk Is On the Air, etc.)
  • Tim Bagley-Harold Krenshaw (Mr. Monk Gets A New Shrink, etc.)
  • Sharon Lawrence-Linda Foscow (Mr. Monk and the Bad Girlfriend)
  • Andy Richter-Hal Tucker (Mr. Monk Makes A Friend)
  • David Koechner-Joey Crenshaw (Mr. Monk and the Daredevil)
  • Ricardo Chavira-Jimmy Belmont (Mr. Monk VIsits a Farm)
  • Angela Kinsey-Ariene Boras (Mr. Monk and the Secret Santa)
  • Howie Mandel-Cult Leader (Mr. Monk Joins A Cult)
  • Sarah Silverman-Marci Maven (Mr. Monk and His Biggest Fan, etc.)
  • Brooke Adams-Leigh Harrison (Mr. Monk and the Airplane)
Hopefully other, more memorable characters such as Tim Curry’s Dale the Whale and my hope Sherona will pop up. Monk is on Fridays at 9/8 Central on USA Network.
